From my family to
yours, have a safe
and happy New Year!
I would also like to
thank you for your
help and support
over the past three
years.
Working together
since 2005, we have
achieved great
results for West
Hawaii: OVER $150
MILLION to invest in
our roads, schools
and healthcare,
including major
expansion of Queen K
highway and the new
West Hawaii
Community Health
Center.
As Chairman of the
House Health
Committee, I have
also been working on
your behalf to solve
Hawaii's Healthcare
Crisis.
In 2007, we wrote
and passed the
landmark Keiki Care
Bill, which
guarantees health
insurance coverage
for every child in
Hawaii. We will now
begin to see the
benefits of that
success across the
state.
This year I will
introduce the Rural
Health Act, which if
passed will bring
needed doctors and
nurses to the
neighbor islands.
With your continued
help and support, we
will be able to
strengthen Hawaii's
healthcare system so
that all of our
citizens have access
to the care they
need.
In the coming year I
am looking forward
to speaking to you
personally and
listening to your
ideas and concerns.
Working together, we
will continue to
make Hawaii a better
place to live.
Sincerely,
Josh Green M.D.

Dear Friends,
I hope this will be
a safe and happy New Year for you and your
family.
In the coming year
at the legislature I will be focusing on:
1. West Hawaii's need for
new roads and other key infrastructure
2. The healthcare crisis in
our state
3.
Providing quality education and economic
opportunity for everyone in Hawaii
Of course there are
many other important issues that affect all of
us, so you can count on me to be at every
hearing and every meeting to represent you.
Please contact me
any time at my personal email address with your
ideas to make Hawaii a better place to live.
Again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Sincerely,
Josh Green M.D.

Dear Friends,
The 2007
legislative session is already halfway through
and I continue to focus on three major areas:
1.
More state resources to invest in West Hawaii
2.
Bringing doctors and nurses to areas in crisis
3.
Making sure every child in our state has health
insurance
Specifically, I am
fighting to make sure that we get more than $50
million for new roads, schools and law
enforcement in our community.
I am also pressing
for better reimbursements and other incentives
to bring needed health professionals to the
neighbor islands.
My Keiki Care plan
will insure every child in Hawaii, making
certain none of our children go without
healthcare.
Finally, I am committed to building a new
college campus for West Hawaii and will continue
fighting for the release of state funds
designated for this important project.
Thank you again for
your support and ideas. Please contact me any
time.
Working together we
are making things happen for our community and
our state.
Sincerely,
Josh Green M.D.
