Standing Up for West
Hawaii
Dear Friends,
Since I began my
campaign for the
State Senate on May
2nd, I have
personally contacted
over 8,000 voters in
West Hawaii, asking
for your support
this year so I can
keep STANDING UP FOR
WEST HAWAII.
Your response has
been overwhelmingly
positive. Thank you
for your tremendous
support and
encouragement!
By Primary Day on
September 20th, I am
committed to
personally
contacting over
20,000 voters in
West Hawaii. I look
forward to talking
to you in the coming
months and listening
to your ideas to
make Hawaii a better
place to live.
Working together
since 2004, we have
already achieved
great results for
West Hawaii: over
$200 million to
invest in our roads,
schools, and
hospitals, including
the Queen K highway
expansion and the
new West Hawaii
Community Health
Center.
Over the past four
years we have also
had success in
passing legislation
that makes Hawaii a
better place to
live. We passed
important new laws
protecting our
health and
environment,
including Keiki Care
which provides
health insurance to
every child in our
state, and the
Hawaii Global
Warming Act to limit
greenhouse gas
emissions and fight
the climate crisis.
As your State
Senator, I will
continue fighting
for our fair share
of state resources
to invest in our
community. This
includes bringing a
new hospital and a
new college campus
to West Hawaii in
the coming years.
This year I humbly
ask for your support
in my campaign for
State Senate, so
that together we can
keep STANDING UP FOR
WEST HAWAII and
continue to achieve
great results for
our community.
Sincerely,
Josh Green M.D.
